This
lovely Johnson Bros. creamer
is
the fitting host for some
yarrow
clippings from my garden.
Together
they enabled me to portray
a
study of contrasts:
soft
yarrow blossoms and soft feathery leaves
contrasted
with a hard porcelain creamer,
intense
dramatic lights
contrasted
against mysterious darks,
and
colorful fuzzy shadows
contrasted
against sharp crisp shadows.
