This
alpaca is attentively
Looking
for My Friends,
keeping
an awareness as to the
whereabouts
of its family group.
Alpacas
enjoy the company of
other
alpacas. As herd animals
they
develop social relationships
among
each other.
At
a recent alpaca show,
as
individual alpaca were separated from
their
family group for judging,
we
could see and hear their caring concern
that
they express for each other
when
one alpaca departs
or
returns to the family group.
