As
I was arranging these
freshly
clipped peonies from
my
garden, they reminded me of
a
small family...Momma, Daddy,
and
a baby 'bud'
Always
amazing to me is that my
light
pink ones have
very
little fragrance...
But
the darker pink ones
sure
make up for it.
The
darker peony blooms smell
much
better than any rose
that
I've smelled to date.
Peonies,
fragrant or not,
are
a delight to paint !
