A wonderful friend of mine loaned
me some items to paint. This antique
copper coffee pot is just a delight.
It not only has an old glow of
copper, but it has a few dings and
dents, and it sits a little bit off
balance, making a more interesting
painting with lots of character.
I love how the shadow was bigger
than life also. The copper color was
bouncing all around.

How exciting is this reflective surface.
The Sunday Sampler turned out great.
Many new people made their way to
the Akron Society of Artists studio space.
The weather was cooperative which
helped, I'm sure. There is another event
in December... wonder if the weather
will cooperate.
