Loads of reflective light from the sunny
yellow lemons and the crystal dish. The
white cloth doesn't have a chance of
escaping the glow.
Most of my paintings are done "alla prima"
or all at once. These small ones especially are done
at one sitting, glazing and painting wet over wet
until I have a feeling of "Ahhhh, I'm finished".

Oh, Debra, I love this... there's just a tiny hint of blue in the crystal - that relates so nicely to the lemons!
