Phlox, Lace and Pottery

Phlox, Lace and Pottery
6"x6" original oil painting on gallery wrap linen
framing optional

Sold

A borrowed bowl from my mother,
Phlox from my garden and a vintage lace
handkerchief make up this painting.
I tried to use economy in the strokes,
especially in the Phlox and the handkerchief.

I love this bowl and am trying to paint
several paintings before I give it back to
Mom. :-)
Here is another one that's sold.

What a beautiful little painting! The lace really makes it, and you did that so beautifully! :)

A sweet painting. Love the blue and white and a wonderful job on the lace.

Thank you Helen and Barb!
It was a little scary doing the lace.
In the end it wasn't all that hard.
Lots of fun!

Your still lives are so incredible. They have the details while still keeping the feel of paintings. I adore them
