Spode, Plain and Simple

Spode, Plain and Simple
8"x10" oil on linen, gallery wrap...framing optional

I do love to paint Spode and grapes for that matter.
I don't know if it shows, but there is a glow of the grape color throughout.
Tried to keep the composition simple.

Artist Bio

My photo
Debra J.Sepos
Award Winning Artist Debra J. Sepos Debra J. Sepos has been a professional artist in the Northeastern Ohio area for the past 38 years. She studied formally at the University of Akron as well as the University of Dayton. Debra earned both B.F.A. and Masters Degrees inclusive of Education, Ceramics and Painting with Honors.   Following in the tradition of the American and European Masters, Debra is dedicated to painting still-lifes, landscapes, animals, and other subjects. Her intent is to reveal the subtleties of light and color emanating from nature. Debra's style of traditional realism reveals a careful balance of finely drawn works, displaying a mastery of draftsmanship. Her works are enhanced by a mature expression of color and form. Many of Debra's paintings, especially her beloved wooly sheep paintings, contain a bit of whimsy.   Debra has received acclaim, awards, and has been commissioned by art enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Many of her paintings are in private collections in the United States and also in many countries abroad. Signature Member Akron Society of Artists & Women's Art League
