Phlox, Lace & Pottery
6"x6" original oil painting
gallery wrap linen
framing optional

Sold

Thought I would give this a re-list since I
finally put it up for auction. The close ups
make it more interesting also. This is such a
beautiful bowl that belongs to my mother.
The painting has a real feel of pottery.

Open Door, Sheep

Open Door, Sheep

5"x7" original oil
painting, gallery
wrap linen

Sold

Thought this was a great looking barn. Maybe it's too elegant for sheep. But perhaps with a double meaning to the open door it makes the idea work. The sheep is in a moment of hesitation as he decides whether to walk through

the open door or not. We are like sheep, always having a bit of hesitation before we
decide to leap from the known to the unknown.

Each object has different textures and surface qualities

Not so sure I captured all the surfaces, but I gave it a

Passing by, Sheep

Passing By, Sheep
4"x6" original oil
gallery wrap canvas

Sold
I've always loved animals, but especially sheep.
Black faced sheep are my favorite. Maybe it's
because we like sheep have gone astray and need
a lot of help getting back on the right path.
One of my favorite paintings is of Jesus rescuing a
sheep from the side of a cliff. Something to think
about in our world of ups and downs.

Blue Delphinium

Blue Delphinium
5"x7" original oil on canvas board

Sold

More Blue! I had a light background first
and it just didn't work. So the artist in me
changed the whole feeling of the painting
by adding the drama of the darker background.

Blue & White Jar with Orchid

Blue & White Jar with Orchid
4"x6" original oil on canvas
gallery wrap, no staple showing
framing optional

Sold

A theme going on with all the blue
and white lately.
This porcelain jar
is after an English antique biscuit jar.

I did the china painting on the jar myself
with raspberries
and leaves.
The gold is 24K gold trim that puts off a

nice glow in the light. I tried to capture
the over glow
as the light hit the jar.

English Castle & Red Grapes

English Castle & Red Grapes
5"x7" original oil on canvas panel
standard size for easy framing

Redware and red grapes make for beautiful
shadows and reflections on the white cloth.
The grapes in the creamer appear to be calling
out
to their fellow grapes that fell overboard.
Hope it brings a smile to your face!
