Spending
time with, and painting, sheep
has
been a fondness of mine for many years.
Sheep
and alpaca bond nicely together and
farmers
are utilizing alpaca to protect
their
flocks of sheep and lambs.
More
recently I've had a great opportunity to
learn
about, get close to, and enjoy alpacas.
Different
from the Huacaya alpaca fleece,
the
Suri alpaca have long flowing locks.
Alpacas
seem to be far more skittish than
the
docile farmyard sheep that I'm accustomed to.
With
its beach waves hair style
this
alpaca and I got along 'nosey-nosey' fine.
