Butterflies Waiting 5"x7" oil on linen, gallery wrap...framing optional This is an effort to capture the deep rich colors of the Buddleia or Butterfly Bush. I paired it with a white vase so the white would pick up the reflected colors. It really does attract the butterflies as well as hummingbirds. One of those small quiet pleasures in life. Sold
Lemons and Cream 5"x7" oil on linen, gallery wrap...framing optional A nice warm glow of lemon on the porcelain creamer. It spills over onto the white cloth also. Sold
White in the Middle 8"x10" oil on linen, gallery wrap...framing optional A new pitcher in town! I found the small blue ware pitcher on a recent shopping trip. I thought it was a nice addition to my pitcher collection. It's not a very big collection, you will probably see them in various paintings along the way. I thought these three made an interesting group. I like the tension between them with the placement of each. They are very different whites with the left one being warm and the other two being very cool. One stands a little too close to the edge and the Spode stands a bit aloof. The middle one almost looks like it kisses the blue ware. Hope that give a little personality to them. Sold
Spode with White Hydrangea 6x6 oil on linen, gallery wrap...framing optional This white hydrangea is a late summer bloomer. It's a warm white against the cool white cloth and Spode. Sold
Path to the Barn 5"x7" oil on canvas panel This was done of a farm in the Berkshire area of Massachusetts. I was doing a show at the Hancock Shaker Museum. The morning light was so beautiful coming over the hills. Available
